Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet neighborhood situated in the West Island, which is an island in Montreal. It is a part of the island that has been called "the West Island." West Island has a lot of different communities. People who have never been aware of it frequently mistake it for a separate island facing west. Amanda Brugel's birthplace is frequently cited, however her short visit to the West Island did not last long. Brugel grew in Courtice close to Oshawa. After receiving the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she enrolled in York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the year 2000. Over the past 20 years since, Brugel has been offered roles in over 60 shows on the big and small screens, attracting the greatest interest when she was offered the role in the role of Rita in the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel was the sole Canadian actor for Season 1 of the show and was only appeared on occasion.
